Not everyone can take long periods of time off from work or their studies, so a working holiday would be perfect!
Days can be spent working or relaxing at the Center, exploring the nearby area (including the Winelands or Cape Town itself), or spending time peacefully overseeing our resident cheetahs. Of course, if you like, you are more than welcome to participate in helping the staff with the daily duties as often as you like. Daily duties include cleaning of enclosures, enrichment, feeding all animals as well as general maintenance and gardening work. Our animal team will be more than happy to assist you with anything you need to know.
The overall cost includes all accommodation, bedding, laundry, breakfast and lunch on Monday to Friday. You will receive training material, a volunteer manual and an Ashia t-shirt. Wi-Fi is available at all Working holiday units and certain areas on the Center.
